Working in The Yard and at Home

Thursday, April 9th, 2009 | Cool Stuff | No Comments

I think I have found that working in the yard is a lot more enjoyable than it used to be. I think one of the things that used to turn me off, was the fact that I looked at it as work in the past. Things are different now, and I enjoyed being outside rather than cooped up watching a television, or playing video games all day long.

Being married is also a factor as to why I enjoy working outside as well, and my wife enjoys working inside decorating the house so that works out perfectly when we need our alone-time.

Things really are different when it’s your own home. You can keep things tidy in front of your apartment door, but the experience is quite different when it’s your own home that you are working on. Whether it be in the garden or even just your front lawn.

I think most of us take for granted the fact that we live in a place where there are many more amenities than countries worldwide. Projects within the home or outside of the home such as installing your own blind shutters, or working on your front lawn planting things.

So what is going to be my next project? I think I may look into having a fireplace built. Now that may take a little bit more planning. I’m going to get the instruction manuals and tools that I need, and then I’m going to begin my project from start to finish. Maybe you should consider some type of in-home project.

Learn About Proper Brushing Techniques

Brushing Techniques

Whether you decided to use a Sonicare toothbrush or another brand you need to make sure that you are brushing the correct way or it really won’t help all that much. Below you can check out our brushing instructions that can help you to achieve good oral health.

When brushing you need to be sure to get in between your teeth and gums by brushing at a 45 degree angle to your teeth. If you don’t do this the bristles will not get in between you teeth very well at all.

Next you also want to make sure that you have the right motion, a gentle circular motion. You really shouldn’t be move the toothbrush back and forth a lot but rather just letting kind of sit on the tooth (if it’s an electric toothbrush)

Thirdly you need to make sure that the light pressure is for only 4-5 seconds on each tooth. It is also okay to spend a little extra time on your back teeth that generally take a little more work.

The main thing with brushing is to be sure that you get your teeth feeling clean but also not to over do it and brush to hard thus causing damage to your teeth.

A Career As A Massage Therapist

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008 | 403 | No Comments

Chicago Massage therapists? school not only taught me different massage techniques, but also relevant subjects and courses that would be helpful in my career as a masseur.  For example, in one school, I was taught not only Swedish massage, but the school even gave me lessons in human physiology, ethics, and other classes like that one that I found to be really interesting and helpful.

More importantly, I also knew that my school is accredited by the government.  This means that once I will graduate from my school in about a year or so, I will become a licensed massage therapist.

Handmade Celtic jewelry

One of my favorite types of jewelry which can be very customized is Silver Celtic jewelry. I have bought some of the best Celtic jewelry in my time, and the craftsmanship was great. I would say if you are looking at getting someone something really special you should actual consider getting them something that will last.

Women always love jewelry. it doesn’t matter if its old or new. the style will make most women blush that you took the time to get them something unique. While flowers are a nice gesture, i would say to show someone that you have more than just a common man by buying her maybe a Sterling Silver Celtic pendant for example.

This will not only let her know that you care for her, but it will be something special that only you did. i am sure this will win you some brownie points. This is only a tric I have found works when you are truely sincere though. Don’t foget that part.

Golfing More with the Wife

Sunday, November 2nd, 2008 | 403 | No Comments

Snow has been late to arrive this year so I have been squeezing in as much golf as possible.  My wife took it up the summer before last and it is really great that we can do this together.  It certainly isn’t her passion by any stretch, but I think she enjoys and we definitely enjoy the opportunity to spend more time together.  It is a little frustrating for me because drive is so straight and effortless.

I am constantly practicing my swing with my Medicus driver to achieve the same results, but I am admittedly not much of a natural athlete.  I am getting better with the training and the dual hinge rarely breaks.  I can even hit balls with it pretty well at the driving range, so maybe there is hope for me yet.  Otherwise it is back to the simulator for me.  I’ll be sure to keep you updated on our progress.

How do I lose weight?

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008 | 403 | No Comments

How does it work? How do I lose weight in a week? That’s the question on a lot of minds, but most people still have no idea. No idea how its done, no idea how to do it and no idea what they are in for. Well let me tell you I started this and it’s been the ride of my life. Losing weight doesn’t come all that easy.

You need to start off slowly, making daily changes in your routine when it comes to what you eat, when you eat sometimes even how you eat although that’s rare. Then you move on to other things: becoming smarter about working out, managing your time so that you workout right before you eat and the list goes on…

Great looking skin

Just a heads up, but after my third child I started getting really awful stretch marks. Well one of the biggest problems of the stretch marks is that I became really embarrassed and nothing I could do about but finally I swallowed my pride and invested some time in reading blogs about getting rid of stretch marks fast and voila! Turns out it’s not as hard as I thought, but certainly not as easy as it was sounding. I had to get some creams and do some special exercises but suddenly I found that my skin was getting back to normal! I’m feeling really great about that too!

How To File For A Bankruptcy

Sunday, October 12th, 2008 | 403 | No Comments

If you are in a world of hurt with your debts and are considering filing for bankruptcy then I suggest you seek all other alternatives first.  Despite this some of you will not listen and still others have already check out all other alternatives and this is their only choice.  If this is you then you first need to find out how to file bankruptcy.  The first and only step in filing for a bankruptcy is to contact a bankruptcy lawyer. Once you get a hold of a lawyer you do not need to do anything else.  They will charge you a flat fee and inform you about anything you need to do regarding the bankruptcy proceedings.  Just be sure that you select a fairly priced bankruptcy lawyer.

How Much Time Do You Spend Online?

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008 | Cool Stuff | No Comments

Since these social networks came around, I found myself spending too much time online. I find it hard to stay away from the computer, because I’ve made so many friends online that I have lots of things to share with them all the time. There is also time to be spent in the background, by example looking for cool avatars to use for my profile page. As I want to be unique, but I didn’t want to put my photo all over the place, I tried to find some illustrations to represent my personality. This takes a lot of time, but it is worth the pain. Besides, if I do what I enjoy, life’s feeling much better.

Photosession in the Wild

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008 | Cool Stuff | No Comments

Taking photos of birds is one of my hobbies. Luckily I can go to a river delta which is not so far away from my city, and I can spend there a whole day waiting for the birds to come and let themselves photographed. Sometimes it takes a lot of photos to make only one which is good enough to keep. This is why I never leave home without my spare sets or rechargeable batteries, all charged the previous night, thanks to my universal smart charger which is very fast. With all batteries fully charged, with all my SD cards ready to go, I’m sure there would be no technical problem that would prevent me from photographing those gorgeous birds. I am satisfied with every single photo shooting trip I make.
