Chosing an Interior Design Style
Most people have an interior design style which appeals more than many. I tend towards a modern style myself – though I’m not minimalist. I like clean modern lines and dislike fiddly cottage or Victorian style details. However I am not very good and tidying up and putting stuff away – so it cant be too tough to live in as far as I am concerned.
I quite like some of the retro 60s and 70s stuff which is coming onto the market recently. Suddenly or that green laminate and exposed wooden walls is starting to look quite appealing – though it can be way over the top in some houses.
One style which is not common in my town – but nice when you see it is Art Deco – that clean sharp lines, bright colours and geometric designs all have lasting appeal even though the style originated in the 1920s
