Consumer Reports has now come out with different sets of TV converter box reviews and in both cases the tivax stb-t9 was rated as the top TV converter box. The stb-t9 was chosen by them twice as the top box mainly because of its superior picture quality. When watching TV with the stb-t9 viewers get a picture quality that is equivalent to what you get when watching a DVD. It was also selected as the top box because it is one of the cheapest and easiest to use models. The only feature that this converter box is missing is the pass-through function that allows you to continue to watch non full-power analog stations.
